Fulfilling the poor people dream of own house .. Minister Kodali Nani
Gudiwada, May 28: State Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kodali Srivenkateswara Rao (Nani) has said that father-son late YS Rajasekhara Reddy and his son Jaganmohan Reddy were allotted about 450 acres of land for poor housing in Gudiwada constituency while they were chief ministers.
Minister Kodali Nani spoke to the media at the camp office in Gudivada town on Friday. The late YSSR and CM Jaganmohan Reddy are among the greats who bought such a large amount of land in a constituency in India after independence and embarked on the construction of houses, he said. Jaganmohan Reddy said 181 acres of land had been acquired for the poor in Gudivada town since he took over as chief minister. In 2008, the then Chief Minister, the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, bought 77 acres of land. Wiesner said it was building 8,912 Tidco houses on the land given to it.
