Treatment options for those over 60 years of age with covid infection

 The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the Union Ministry of Medicine and Health have released the treatment modalities and procedures to be followed when the elderly over 60 years are exposed to Kovid infection.

Elderly people in the country are also affected by Covid. They are more susceptible to Covid due to age-related immunodeficiency and other comorbidities. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has released a protocol for the treatment of such patients according to the severity of the disease in the elderly to reduce the risk among them.
